Overview
This guide walks you through removing the ByteRover V2 MCP server configuration from Goose Desktop.We guide assume you’ve previously connected Goose Desktop with ByteRover V2 via the guide here.
Steps

Open Goose Desktop Settings
Go to Goose Desktop and navigate to Settings.

Navigate to Extensions and Find ByteRover MCP
Go to the Extensions tab, find and click on 
byterover-mcp config:3
Delete the Extension
Delete the 
byterover-mcp extension:4
Verify Removal
Refresh the Extensions page and verify that
byterover-mcp is no longer listed.
